Actualy what i meant to let our users know by this email is about the Facebook Viral script which is being used by many pages these days.. as i saw many of my friends even got it with them so decided to write a post for Group members..
U might have got any of your Friend posted the following text or text of same kind on your wall, or Groups/pages Wall or sent in personal message..
"check this out! now you can change fb themes! http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-Facebook-Profile-Page-Themes-Be-Unique-Get-It-Now/130833480316366"
or
"check this out! I just got a FREE IPHONE! http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-Facebook-Profile-Page-Themes-Be-Unique-Get-It-Now/130833480316366"
a link will take u to a Facebook page where u will be asked to click on the given link or enter a java script in your adress bar..
"" Actually what this script does is access your info and posts the pre-set text on your frnds walla, Group/pages walls and etc and then the another user comes.. thats the chain method it works in.
*It is adviced to ignore such messages eve if it comes from the trust worthy source.. u will be in trouble just because of someone else's mistake..
For those who have done this with them self Already. i would simply advice the following steps,
1. Clear your Cookies.
2. Change your Password.
3. Let your friends know about this by setting Status adn all. so that it wont spread more..
(I suggested it assuming it like a normal java script behaviour.. havnt searched much on what area it covers and all)
